Project Arlena
In 2003, Strucco completed a caisson-grade beam system and house leveling for Project Arlena, designed to provide long-term structural stability. The team also recommended extending the system to include the new pool for added protection. This recommendation proved essential when, 20 years later, a pool leak caused soil saturation and triggered a landslide. Thanks to Strucco’s durable engineering, the house, pool, and hardscape above remained unaffected.

Design/Build Structural Repairs
Strucco is now focused on repairing and stabilizing the hillside using a caisson-supported retaining wall and soil cement. The project includes hillside stabilization, drainage repairs, value engineering, design and modeling, geotechnical and structural engineering, foundation engineering, excavation, grading, and drilling. This work demonstrates Strucco’s ability to deliver forward-thinking, resilient solutions that protect structures even in challenging conditions.
